Hello reader, my name is Bryson Kern.  I'd like to thank you for being interested and/or bored enough to read about my life.  I was born and raised in Bedford, Indiana.  I received my college education at Indiana University and graduated with a degree in Jazz Studies and a minor in Religious Studies.  While living in Indiana, I was fortunate enough to develop musical (and personal) relationships with several great Indiana-based musicians such as Claude Sifferlen, Frank Glover, Melvin Rhyne, Rob Dixon, Kyle Quass, and the Buselli-Wallarab Jazz Orchestra, to name a few.  After receiving my accreditation as a professional musician from Indiana University, I relocated to New York City, where I continue to reside.  During the past few years, I've had the pleasure of performing with many other great musicians like Fred Hersch, Terell Stafford, Benny Golson, Michael Weiss, Rudy Linka, and Gene Perla to name a few more.  If for some reason you would prefer to read this information in a slightly expanded, vaguely pretentious, third-person format, please email me.
